Pandagate

We hoped for pandas but they were not to be seen. Bit of a moan coming up. You pay extra to see the pandas. They have inside and outside viewing areas so if they are not outside you can see them inside. There are two pandas so you should be able to see A PANDA.

Today, both inside viewing areas were shut. Female panda wasn't allowed out as she's a bit hormonal(!). Male panda decided to stay in and sleep. Apparently he woke up once when we weren't there, had a poo and went back to sleep.

We did see what a lot of other interesting things, including koalas, but even the penguins didn't parade very far.

So we've given up on Northern pandas. We bought a furry one from the shop do young Sam is happy! Next time we will go to Washington or Berlin...

We are enjoying ourselves though!!! Loved the delicate colours of the pelicans!
