It was a Twitch!

We missed the first sighting of this species when it was found on Shetland, as we were on the ferry back to Aberdeen. But then this one turned up in Easington near Hull. And off we went. We didn't get there until after 11am and so missed the 900 odd who were reported as being there first thing in the morning. Thank goodness; I doubt I would have seen the bird in that crowd, being short and female.

A lovely little bird and close enough for a photo, if only it had kept still for a second or two.

On the way home the clutch went on G's car. Bit of an expensive day out.
