Elizabeth

We celebrated Elizabeth's 8th birthday today with a small party in the garden. There was apple bobbing, piñata and they painted some plaster models.

I took the four children to the park for two hours before hand which I think was the most helpful thing I could do.
They are all big enough now it's not such a difficult task.
For much of the time I was able to sit and supervise.
I resisted pulling out my phone. It's such a bad look.

We are minding them again tonight while their parents go out. They were all exhausted enough to go to bed without protest :-)
