The Answer Lies in the Soil

On waking, the Current Mrs Creel said she kept hearing strange noises in the night - this was explained by the fact that Bibs had been accidentally locked in the sun porch all night. 

Well today is a thoroughly miserable day; the stove has been lit.  The Current Mrs Creel has made a batch of banana muffins and a tea loaf and asked me to get some veg for a soup.

I went to the tunnel and got carrots, beetroot, onions and chard and courgettes.  I intend to hunker down in the tunnel pm to tidy it for the back end.

I have also tried to get a wiggle on and finish my library book (Stella Rimmington’s autobiography - Aunty Emily has made some damson wine).

We will be braving the weather later and making a dash to dancing in Stenness.
