Wildflowers

CCN and I took advantage of a cloudless sky and no wind and ventured down to the Fairfax Track for a walk this afternoon.  It was absolutely glorious.  One of those dreamy days you long for after a very, very cold winter.  This amazing patch of mauve just jumped out at us.  I had hoped to take a photo of the native irises today, however they weren't to be seen.  I'm honestly not sure what this beautiful mass of flowers is but it was just spectacular in live living colour.
