La Pomme D'Amour

So apparently the French know a thing or two about cuisine, however, they seem to have misnamed the lowly tomato in the 16th Century the Love Apple. Apparently our gaelic neighbours believed that the vegetable / fruit possessed aphrodisiac properties. Given I'll now be munching on these for my dinner tonight the ladies of Edinburgh better take care and lock their doors.
