A day of contrasts

A very dull, grey morning with some torrential showers of rain .... great for the garden but not for the planned round of golf.

By the afternoon conditions had brightened up and L and I cycled down to the harbour before meeting a friend for coffee.

Plans were well underway for the 'Boats Out' tomorrow.  Two yachts were already tied up at the quayside with their masts lowered.  A third had its crew on board making the final preparations for the mast lowering ready for their 10am lift out.  Weather permitting we may cycle down to watch the huge crane in action.
