Sea Gnomes

Mast off! Unstepped. It's not been the best year for sailing as I worked up till mid-August and there was the small issue of a new house to get into order which filled up the weekends. Next year!
There was a big swell in the harbour. Yes, me. Actually that dates me - I don't think people say things like 'a couple of swells walked into the bar' any more. So, the big swell caused us to abandon our work after my boat had been done - the far legs of the gantry crane lifted off the quayside when the boat was bottoming between waves. A bit hairy.
And back home to wash off the salty dog salt, lay the fire and uncork a bottle. Happy weekend, blippers.
