Changing colours

Spent a few hours in Brasted, near to westerham in kent.
Lunch at the White Hart, which during WW2 was frequented by RAF fighter pilots stationed at nearby Biggin Hill. The walls are decorated with their photos and there is a facsimile blackboard with their signatures. The original is in the Shoreham, kent, Battle of Britain museum.

We had a long uphill walk through the woods which we terminated at Emmets , a National Trust property at Ide Hill. Returning downhill was far easier.  The blip is of the view looking back to Brasted from the footpath that leaves the village.
