A sad time

As most of you will be aware the King of Thailand passed last night. We were actually just on our way out to dinner when the official news came through.  It was a very strange atmosphere, lots of places were either empty or just had a couple of people sitting quietly.  We were the  only customers in the Indian  Restaurant we frequent,  there is an Irish Pub close by and it was closed.  Today we went shopping, the mall was subdued, with music playing very quietly and most people were dressed in dark clothing.  All the manakins in the store windows are dressed in black.  There is to be a 12 month official morning period.  Not sure if or how this will effect us.  So as it is FlowerFriday I am showing you a flower that grows in our complex and I dedicate to the Thai People.
