Kingfisher

The Kingfisher was keen to show off that incredible aquamarine flash! For some people that is all they ever see, so I feel very fortunate to see this gorgeous bird from all angles. I'm pretty pleased with this shot and I have finally set my camera up correctly so that no parts of her dazzling plumage is overexposed, even under the strong sunshine. She's becoming quite a show off!
