Phonics is improving! The sessions are less fraught and we're now even starting to build words! Tough if you're barely 4 years old but they're getting used to the real world of Reception, and Year 1 are setting a great example... 

I bought these buckets to house the visual aids and they have proved popular. The pink ones were chosen by two boys....and why not!

After break I was privileged to be able to go over the Year 6 Maths paper with S and together we began to make head and tail of it and I think we made progress. This was followed by a spellings test....Lunch was very welcome.
