The start....

of a very interesting archaeology walk round the Castles Grant. We covered 11 kms in the four hours we were out, visited the present Castle and the sites of two previous, an Iron Age fort and many deserted settlements. It was a good group of people to walk with and it stayed dry the whole day despite the forecast. Finished with tea and shortbread at the Museum.
