Merging

I got out the gladiolus flower that I have been slowly encasing in ice, by adding more water to it, from time to time.

The photographed image had a mono texture layer added on top with the opacity reduced.

I then created a new layer on top, which is a monochrome version of the original layer, and included a boarder. The blending mode was changed, together with a layer mask, so that only the boarder shows.
