Still flying high..........

Oh boy, not sure how I'm going to cope, no Olympics to watch tonight.

I was a little surprised to see this flag in the distance as I drove to work. It sat on a small knoll, adjacent to the M6 motorway where it joins the M54. I stopped, walked along a local path to get a better view and shot this image (actually two as I couldn't have got the detail in the flag in what is a backlit subject).

A little jiggery pokery in Photoshop and another blip is complete.

It was lucky I stopped and took the shot because the flag and pole had been removed by the time I drove home this evening.

What an absolutely fantastic closing ceremony! How can we top the last 17 days?
