The Autumn Leaves!

I love the Autumn, cold dry days, the crunch of leaves underfoot and the wonderful aroma of a log fire burning in the  hearth of a welcoming country hostelry.  The changing colour of the leaves and I always think of the beautiful Lake District at this time of year where we lived for 5 years in the 90's and took long walks over the fells and around the tarns, always ending up in a pub, The Drunken Duck, The Britannia Inn, The Masons Arms, a pint of your best landlord please!!  This shot was taken a few hundred yards from home in Northamptonshire, a beautiful county but its not Cumbria!!
