Footpaths

Footpaths are among the most important things in my life.

The Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is quite small. It is about 8 miles north to south and about 6 miles east to west. Within this area is a remarkable network of footpaths through ancient woodland, along the coast and over limestone hills.
It is said there is a path for every day of the year and it is certainly the case that by linking different paths together one can create a great variety of walks.

After living here for over twenty years it would be hard to find one which has not had the mark of my boots.
