Diary of an Edinburgher

We're off!

Right. We're off to warmer climes. But not before I spent the morning at the hospital seeing my man about my blood - it has to be 'managed' before the operation. I was there at 9am, to be told he was 'running late'. However, when he did come, he was very efficient and whizzed through all the complicated arrangements. I am to start back on those jabs in the stomach, and - yes - I have to begin while on my holiday. Which means going through security with needles. Hmmmm. They thought I was suspicious enough last time, and that was just with a walking stick, so wish me luck!

Anne came round to see where everything was in the house, before she moves in to look after Archie. Mainly to see how to work the TV remotes, methinks. But also how to feed the birdies, of course.

Camila arrived to pick Archie up. What a treat - he was beside himself! TWO of his best friends at the same time, though he doesn't look particularly happy in this shot. It's those eyebrows. He just a flurry blur in the five minutes before this.

I wanted a photo of the three of them, but he was so excited, looking from one to the other in sheer joy. Of the dozens of shots, thank goodness one of them is usable.

I think I've packed everything...
