Hypothermic cuddles
It has been one of those days...
It started with heading into Hannah's Riccarton, to buy the boys some sandles for summer, as they had a deal on. The sales assistant was brilliant, trying the different options on both boys but when we got to the till, I asked about the special and they knew nothing about it... Apparently, it is an online special only - despite it not saying that online. And the store couldn't match it. So, we walked out with no shoes.
Then we decided to grab some lunch upstairs. We had just arrived, got our food and coffee, and then the power went out. So, we stayed and fed the boys, hoping the power would come back on, especially as both boys were in a buggy and the idea of bouncing them down the stairs wasn't appealing. Luckily, just as we approached a massive meltdown, the power came back.
But the day was topped off by arriving home to find Toffee shut in the bathroom. Now most normal cats would sleep in the sun or on the towels...
But no, not our cat. She had to poke around. Which included jumping into the shower from the sink. But once in, she couldn't get out... And she definitely try to get out, as on one of these attempts she must have jumped onto the taps and turned the cold water on...
The end result was that I found a very scared, cold, wet and smelly cat.
CJ was very concerned and give her big cuddles (once she was dry) to help her feel better.
