Ramekins

We had a lovely evening tonight with some friends from church, none of whom have yet finished work for Christmas. It was so nice to relax together and enjoy friendship and fellowship at this busy time.

Dessert (mince pies and yule log) was served amusingly in ramekins, of which I have many, much to Ben's disapproval. He was kind enough to put aside his prejudices tonight though, and there were cheers of appreciation when he brought through eight mini-desserts, all balanced expertly along his arm in manner of an especially dextrous waiter.
