17C with cloud and reduced visibility. Could take it for mist in the distance.
Feels warm though as there is humidity.

Back to taking Maeve the Deerhound for her walk after lunch. All quiet on the bridle path, although it is getting harder to walk there with the grass and nettles reaching for waist height and the path itself narrowing to a muddy rut. I hope it gets another 'mow' before long.

Down at the beach and at the Fishermen's huts there wasn't a soul around, and all but one of the huts was closed and locked up. If it wasn't warm you'd have thought it was the depths of winter. There was a distinct empty feel to the place. "Valhalla V" has been brought up from the water and is sitting on its trailer outside its owner's hut at the far end. Between the red tractor and the hut. Looking battle scarred. The blip is from the top of "Valhalla V's" hull where the metal plating on the gunwale is deeply marked and has lots of texture :-)

Spots of rain now and again all round our walk, but we didn't get wet.
