Captain Steve

We took my mom's 21 foot Pompano (named Anne Bonny) out today and had a lovely time, except when we were leaving the Manatee River out into more open waters. It was so windy/wavy it made me scream and grip the boat! I am not one for rocking around in a boat on the waves!! Steve said he did not like it either and later told me the waves were probably about 4 ft high. A larger boat would have handled it better... we did not know it was going to be so windy or wavy. Once we were back on the river it was fine. We were planning on going by boat to Mar Vista for lunch . . . instead, we went back to Mom's, docked her boat, got in the car and went to SweetBerries on Manatee Ave!! ;o)
