Sunset over Kintyre

A clear road through Glasgow made for an easy trip to Ardrossan. The ferry crossing was smooth - Cal Mac wifi got the thumbs up from Ky and Josh and they didn't bother to join us on deck, too much to ask from teenagers being dragged to Arran by their parents. If they had had any doubts about a holiday on Arran they were soon banished by the fantastic holiday cottage, the views and their very own stretch of beach. Hide and seek, stair jumping and games of chase on the beach ensued - I think they are going to cope with a few days with Gran, Grandad and Auntie Suzi to celebrate my dad's seventieth birthday.
