Arch of Janus

The Arch of Janus stands just outside our hotel. It stands at the northern end of the Forum Boarium which was the cattle market in a flat area between here and the river. It is the only four sided arch standing in Rome.

Another day of walking around the city, starting at our hotel, going over to the Campo dei Fiori for coffee, whenever to Trastevere for lunch before returning to the Velabro area in the evening.

Dinner at a very pleasant bar just next to our hotel.
