Nodding pincushion

Here's the solution to yesterday's mystery macro, it was one of those 'pins'. The flower/plant is called leucospermum nutans,  and it's popularly know as nutan or nodding pincushion, one of those fabulous and special really ancient plants coming from the Southern Hemisphere.
In the windowsill against the glass, I know those windows need washing again, we'll do it just before we return the house to the landlord ! With a vintage treatment from the Nik collection.

The cold is worse, I'd rather go to bed and stay there, but who's going to make me chickensoup ? ;-)  Thanks very much for the good wishes and stars !
