Back in the days……..

……when seaside/beach tearooms did a roaring trade in 'hot water' and the customers provided their own teapots and tea (sadly Dunns Tea Rooms is LONG gone!)……from a small exhibition of local images at the library this morning. There was some interesting stuff that I hadn't seen before but unfortunately the pictures (luckily not the originals, just prints!) had been laminated in gloss-finish pouches so taking pictures of them was impossible without a mishmash of reflections……sigh, haven't they heard of the matte variety? 

Chasing my tail a bit today…..'nuff said……

MUCH LATER EDIT :: I'm pretty sure the second written message on those painted steps said "DO NOT SIT ON THESE STEPS" ;-)
