Triumph !

My tribute to everyone involved in the 2012 Olympic Games and good luck to all in the Paralympic Games.

Our beautiful Butterfly Gladioli came out just in time for the celebrations. I love the colour and the white patches leading the eye inwards to the deeper purple stamens and tipped stigma.

I also like my new battery !! will charge and hold its charge .... I was so excited that I tried it out at once and this was the result. Now all I have to do is read the manual and try, try again to learn the tricks of the camera.

I am sorry that I have not kept up with comments recently but hopefully I will catch up soon. I do look at and enjoy all your blips so please keep going.

I will not have too much time for the next few days as it is -
' .. only ONE more sleep .. ' until the two grandchildren arrive for sleep overs.
