Canadians

This morning I had the good fortune to witness the swearing in of 30 new Canadian citizens from various parts of the world:  Nepal, India, Denmark, Ethiopia, Middle East, etc.  This afternoon was spent in Toronto's Kensington Market; these two hail from Ethiopia but have already been in Canada for a few years.  It was a day to feel good about immigration and multiculturalism.

Others at the market included a pair of mentalists, some engaging strangers, purple hair, a Mamiya and a Buick, and a friend I have not seen for 20 years (we traveled to Somalia together)...
