Road Trip Day 5

A bit more of a driving day as we headed through the hills of the Ardennes to Castle Reinhardstein. After our tour we headed to the town of Schleiden where we had a superb lunch (Schnitzel for me) and then more driving through the nature reserve of the Eifel.
Some interesting roads and crossing the borders, which we did on several occasions, was immediately obvious. I found the Belgian roads to be in need of repair, the Dutch roads were good although the provision for cyclists meant the road space available was limited and the German roads fast and smooth. Thankfully the Sat Nav kept us right in terms of the changing speed limits as we didn't find the road signs particularly clear.
