Life out there

I attended a fascinating presentation in Moscow this evening by NASA on their endeavours on Mars.  I have only really paid attention to manned space exploration so was amazed to hear there have been 'rovers' moving around on Mars for over a decade.  The two rovers currently active, Opportunity (a selfie here) and Curiosity, have run 42 km and 14 km respectively on Mars so far.
Interesting to learn too that the sunset on Mars is not red - rather sunsets are blue because of the effect of dust scattering the light.
