Sniffing

We bumped into Basil and Polly's friends Dazzle, Shadow and Swizzle today (the latter two also being Westies). It was all going well until they collectively walked into an adder on the field and poor Swizzle got bitten by it. His owner whisked him off to the vet...I really hope he's okay. We might give the common a wide berth for a while until the weather cools down as I've seen three adders in the past week (including two today!), more than I've seen in a whole year before. *shudder*
