A Pooh-fect day.
"I saw one once," said Piglet. "At least, I think I did," he said. "Only perhaps it wasn't."
"So did I," said Pooh, wondering what a Heffalump was like.
Walked miles today as we followed a trail through the Ashdown Forest which took us to special places mentioned in the Winnie-the-Pooh books (although we had to get back in the car to get to The House at Pooh Corner).
This is Pooh Sticks Bridge which, despite my managing this quick 'empty' shot, was actually quite crowded, as both adults and children threw their sticks in the stream and cheered them on as if vying for a gold medal. It was great fun.
Some time ago I told Ernie that I would blip this bridge for him, as he likes Winnie-the-Pooh, so you can imagine how thrilled I am to find it has coincided with his first blip birthday. Happy Blipday, Ernie!
