Blue Mountains Icons 13

Today's icon is Cahills Point, just west of Katoomba. From there, one gets a panoramic view of the Megalong Valley.

There are several vantage points and the picture above shows the pathway leading down to one of them. I thought I'd go with a more intimate image on this occasion, given that an endless succession of bare overviews can eventually start to look like one another.

I've also decided to cheat a little and link you to two other images. Here is the pathway down to another of the lookout positions. Here is one view of Narrow Neck Ridge which divides the Megalong Valley from the more easterly Jamison Valley. It can be seen from the vantage point above.
