Drat

The lovely contrast in the clouds just doesn't come through enough in this.  And even pfaffing around in Picasa hasn't made it much better.

A bit disappointing.

And drat is not to be confused with "der Draht", although they are pronounced the same, der Draht is "the wire" and not a word to indicate disappointment.

Interesting little development today.

I have one project where I'm working on a prototype for a team and today in passing I met the woman who's the technical lead on the project.  She told me there was going to be a departmental meeting in a couple of weeks and asked would I be interested in making a presentation at the meeting?

I said of course I would.

It'll be a test for my German and it might be fun.  At any rate, a few more people will get to know who I am.
