Not Knowing

It's a while since  I had a day out when I spoke to nobody. I wandered through Skerries, Balbriggan and Drogheda before heading to Slane and on to a myriad of townlands down narrow laneways.
The photo was taken at the weir in Slane at the bottom of the steep hill made famous by it's natural ability to test the brakes of heavily laden trucks heading south. Luckily none failed as I stood on the bridge waiting for the grey heron to edge ever closer. He never did....just saying
