Malham Cove

SueT123 arrived at mine mid morning and we set off on holiday. First, we had a day out together at Malham Cove and Tarn. The satnav took us on an "interesting" route and we also came across a road closure with a very confusing diversion sign. 

The walk up to the cove was great and we did mange to see one of the green woodpeckers, but not near enough for a good photo. The light was super and very changeable. We spent quite a bit of time there and then drove up to the tarn for a brief stop. Due to the road closure we had to take the long route to Kettlewell. 

We are staying at Scargill House on a photography workshop. It is quite a mixed group and it seems we have some good locations planned over the next three days.
