The party's over

Thoroughy enjoyed the closing ceremonies.
I know, I know, some of it was a bit hokey, but these things are what they are.
Maybe one of the most popular things was Eric Idle, we were all singing along. A timeless bit of nonsense ;-) Who would've thought eh?

Big congrats to the all the Brits who put on a great Olympics for all of us in the rest of the world. (Based on Vancouver 2010, I know how great it is to experience it first hand.)

Btw, this girl, Christine Sinclair, became Canada's flag bearer mostly because of a Twitter campaign started by our own supporters group. Everybody was stoked about it.

The next few days will be a downer for many people, we've now got a void to fill, but, life goes on.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
