Culture Day

I trust no-one thought we were just here for the beer.  Today was a Double Whammy Day of Culture.
After a leisurely breakfast we walked down to the twin museums of Natural History & The Pitts River Collection.
My main Blip is the Pitts River Collection - over half a million items including artefacts, photographs, manuscripts etc.  Never seen anything like it before - amazing.
Within the building was the Museum of Natural History - see extras.
After the culture came an afternoon of discussion, light refreshment and a few beers.
Now back in the hotel, due to meet in the bar shortly for a little more refreshment, and then walk down to another restaurant for a meal - no doubt with wine - and a few more beers.  Then, most likely, back to the hotel for a night-cap.
What a life :-)
