NR Vertical

Tonight, with friends in town to visit, we opened three years of the same Nicholson Ranch Chardonnay to taste side-by-side-by-side. Unfortunately, it turns out that NR makes incredibly consistent wines. A great quality in a winery if you want to join the wine club (which we did), but it makes for a pretty terrible vertical since the 3 wines have so very little to differentiate them. Oh well, guess there's no need to save them up for verticals anymore, we can just drink them when they arrive!
