Still flowering . . .
Sitting knitting in the back garden in Orkney, in October, with bees and butterflies enjoying the ever-flowering plants. It has really been an amazing year, with better than ever crops of beans and peas, strawberries and blackberries. More Red Admirals and Peacock butterflies than I ever remember seeing too.
Plants which flowered earlier in the year and I didn't expect to see again until next spring, are flowering again - the yellow trollius (globe flower) is a real surprise! Lovely to see it lighting up the border.
Extra is a little gathering of Turnstones, having a rest from turning stones it seems!
