The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.

The London 2012 Games lived up to the Olympic motto & creed - it's been absolutely amazing.

The past two weeks have been filled with positive stories of pride; personal triumph over adversity; true grit, determination & hard work; volunteers capturing & enhancing the spirit of the games and sportsmanship.
