NZ Kea

Made our way home today. I had several attempts at bird photography on the way. Shags, Tuis, Keas. Tuis I found really hard but will surely be having another go next year.
Keas not so abundant as usual and it was cold and a bit windy. This cheeky one dived into our car where my friend had just got an apple out to eat and took off with it. Certainly did not want to share it with his friends. They are so funny to watch.
Stopped at Greymouth where an amazing friend cooked us whitebait for lunch. They were so tasty.
The extras are a Koru our national emblem and my attempt at photographing a Tui
Arrived home at 8pm after an amazing four action packed days away. Thank you for all your generous comments will attempt to catch up over the next few days
