A River of Sheep
The weather was perfect for the 20th annual Trailing of the Sheep today in Ketchum, Idaho, and both the sheep and the spectators appreciated it.
The musicians and performers we enjoyed yesterday led the parade, along with members of the local Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, and several horse-drawn sheep wagons. The large flock of sheep that followed at a safe distance were very well-behaved, which has not always been the case in previous years.
After a late lunch at the appealing Iconoclast Bookstore, we went to the nearby Sun River Resort, and enjoyed the personalized tour that E and R gave us of the extensive grounds and attractive buildings.
E and I delved into some fascinating genealogical documents after supper, and another wonderful day came to an end!
