After Matthew

Please take a look at the extra, not as an example of damage because we were spared with the exception of pulled bushes and the scene in the extra.  Many lost cars and homes and NC had 8 to die and 5 are missing in floods.  The extra shows a 54" square storage building that did sit beside the patio against the back of the house. The small pad where it has been for 6 years is in the upper right beside the house.  Late Saturday afternoon, I looked out the window and saw it on its side about 12 feet from where it sits.  I took the extra photo today.  The funny part is that two pieces of the shed were in the front yard (you might be able to see them in the distant center) and the rest with the contents of the shed were scattered in the back.  The main photo above is from this afternoon at North Myrtle Beach.  The beach had many piles of debris as you can see a few in the photo.  They looked like small bales of seaweed and other vegetation.  We visited a neighborhood were there were 3 buildings burned after a downed power line sparked a fire, and where a man said there was 4 feet of water in his street and yards most of Saturday.  Even the beach houses built on stilts tend to have one room on ground level, so all of those were flooded.  No gas stations or stores except a grocery store with generators were open today.  Thank you again so much for the expressions of concern and prayers.  We lost power for nearly 24 hours, but that too is nothing compared to many circumstances.
