Preparations

I stirred my bones pretty early this morning and was up with Bailey walked and settled down to work before nine. Settled but not particularly motivated but I did manage to get quite a few lessons prepared although at a slightly slower rate than was really required. 

Jobs started after a late-ish lunch, the kitchen cleaned and the ironing done. Bailey mooched and slept and then whined when he got wind of the fact that we were going around the corner to see his favourite people and to deliver the bestest friend's belated birthday present. He was pleased to see everyone and made himself at home, as usual. 

And tonight he has returned to the spare bed, whilst I have watched Strictly  and Poldark and had a cursory refresher course in preparation for a stage to screen version of King Lear on Wednesday. Another busy week ahead but a mid-week treat to look forward to.
