Even though I'd already checked the news on my phone whilst I was out and I knew Mo Farah had won the 5000m, I still found myself shouting at the TV when I got home and watched it. A bit more shouting happened during the men's 4x100m relay and then I grinned from ear to ear watching the highlights of the Olympics so far.

I know the games don't finish till tomorrow, but this tribute had some great shots so I've used some artistic licence & borrowed them. OK, I stole them from the BBC, but they had the advantage of having been to every event & I didn't, so I'm sure they won't mind.
