Fruits of autumn

We had planned a lovely walk this afternoon but we had some unexpected rain despite the forecast predicting sunny intervals.  Instead I had an afternoon in the kitchen cooking and then we watched the film 'Bridge of Spies' on DVD which we had not seen before. An excellent film.  
This shot is of the brambles which I picked yesterday and some windfalls from my friend's apple tree.  With both I made a delicious bramble and apple crumble.  Mmmmmmm!!!

Also today I have been trying to fill in my various blipholes and think I almost finished with just one from July to process and upload.  Good to finally feel up to date.  It means I haven't had time to look at journals but will try to catch up tomorrow.
