Beer Boat
You've heard of a Gin palace? This a Beer boat.
In the little village of Beer in Devon, the boats have to use a winch in order to launch and to come back in again. These fishermen had been out today, and the winch was moving them slowly back up the pebbles.
The fishermen underneath the boat were putting pieces of wood below to help it to roll across the pebbles a bit easier.
The chaps on deck meanwhile were enjoying a nice ride.
We had a super walk from Beer along the coastal path to Branscombe. It was fabulous weather, and the views were amazing.
C's blip shows the boat on its way in to the little bay.
