More like August than October in Whitby today

I went down on my Bike and had a walk round the old town, is was almost as busy as a Summer Sunday, for a little while you could forget that it is October, and imagine that somehow time had stopped.
But the long shadows remind you how much shorter the day are now.
Never mind, days like this are even more valuable as the season advances.
