Another fabulous day in Cadaques on the Costa Brava - the wild coast - north of Barcelona. Another leisurely breakfast followed by a spot of unavoidable work before an hour on the sunbeds beside the pool and a stroll down to the rocky shore following it into town through a picturesque series of small bays.

This is reverse side of the sign for the subtly updated Bar Maritime (80th anniversary last year) which sits on the pebbly shore and not the latest location for the Massachusett Institute of Technology . . . although that would be an interesting idea!
